Zaklady Produkcji Specjalnej Sp. z o.o. (ZPS) was founded in the year 2000 during the transformation process of Polish Defence Industry taking over the production plants, technologies and highly-skilled personnel of the former Zaklady Tworzyw Sztucznych “Pronit” of Pionki.
On 17.09.2002, the Company became part of BUMAR Capital Group, in which Warsaw-based „BUMAR” Sp. z o.o. is the leader. ZPS cooperates with scientific and research institutes affiliated to the Polish defence industry: Military Institute of Armament Technology and Military Institute of Engineering Technology with a view to the implementation of new products and upgrade of old products. ZPS defence products include mine-clearing line charges, 125 mm separate loading tank ammunition, artillery charges for howitzers and mortars, nitrocellulose propellants, 26 mm signal ammunition, black gunpowder (pyrotechnical grade). Industrial production includes adhesives for footwear, furniture, construction and specialized industries as well as ether and nitroglycerine solutions for pharmaceutical industry. Our products are systematically upgraded while the production programme is customer-oriented. In cooperation with scientific institutes, we carry on development work to adjust our products to domestic and European Community standards and to the growing market demand.
The Company has implemented the quality management system of PN-EN ISO 9001:2009, PN-N-19001:2006, AQAP 2110:2009 and an Internal Foreign Trade Standards Control System.
